According to sources, Darshan’s much hyped ‘Chakravarthy’ may release in November. If this news turns out to be true, then this will be the first time after many years that Darshan will be having three releases in a year. He had three releases in 2011, when his films ‘Boss’, ‘Prince’ and ‘Saarathi’ released in the same year.
This year, Darshan’s ‘Viraat’ and ‘Jaggu Dada’ have already released. While the former was a damp squid in box office, the latter was a hit. Producer of ‘Chakravarthy’, Anaji Nagaraj has confirmed that they are planning to get the film released in the month of November. Shooting of around 60 per cent of the film is already complete. The remaining portions will be shot abroad soon.
Darshan will be seen in three different eras. The story starts in 1985 and ends in 2016. Along with Darshan, the film also stars Aditya, Deepa Sannidhi and Srujan Lokesh in pivotal roles. Darshan’s younger brother Dinakar Thoogudeep is also making his debut as an actor in this film. He is playing the role of a villain in the film.
The film is directed by scriptwriter Chintan and it will be his debut as a director.
