Bengaluru: It looks like Chiranjeevi Sarja’s love with remakes continues. Popularly known for his remake films, it was being said that Chiranjeevi wants to shed this image and wants to act in original films. However, it looks like directors in Sandalwood can’t imagine him in original films. This week’s release Singaa, which was projected as an original film is a remake!!

The film is a remake of 2013 Tamil action drama thriller Kutti Puli. The film was directed by M. Muthaiah, and had M Sasikumar, Lakshmi Menon Saranya Ponvannan and Bala Saravanan playing pivotal roles. It was a big hit at the box office especially in B and C centres and it looks like Singaa is following the same trend.

Singaa is doing excellent business in B and C centres as well. The film is doing average business in A centres. Due to dubbing and satellite rights, the film has already reached a safe zone.
