A film running successfully for 25 days is a big thing these days. However, that’s not the case with “Tagaru”, as the film is still running to packed houses.

Shivarajkumar starrer “Tagaru”, directed by Suri, is the first blockbuster of 2018. The film completed 100 days on Saturday, June 2. The film is still screening 100 days in 15 theatres across Karnataka.

All the cast and crew were present for the celebration of this milestone held at Santhosh Theatre here. The film has given a new life to Dhananjaya’s career as his portrayal of Daali in the film has gained him a new set of fans. The film also has Manvitha Harish and Bhavana in lead roles.

The film’s highlight was also its captivating music by Charan and engaging cinematography by Mahendra Simha.

The sequel of the film was announced by Suri a few months back. However, the sequel may take a year or two to release as he is currently busy with his next “Popcorn Monkey Tiger”, which stars Dhananjaya in lead role.
