Hollywood celebrity and start up investor, Ashton Kutcher has given Deepika Padukone’s “My Choice” video his stamp of approval.
The That 70’s show actor has shared the Homi Adajania directed video, commissioned by Vogue India magazine, on his personal Facebook page.
The film is a montage of 99 Indian women of all ages ranging from Homeland actress Nimrat Kaur to author and film critic Anupama Chopra and set to Padukone’s narration.
The video has been a subject of debate in India ever since it made its way online, with certain sections calling it elitist and bring up the point that empowerment isn’t just a word to be hurled at men, while others praised it as a step in the right direction.
