The shooting of Puneeth Rajkumar’s 27th film “Anjaniputra” is going on in full swing. Having completed 80 per cent of the shoot, the team has headed to Rajasthan, where a few more scenes will be shot. The filmmakers will then follow it up with a trip to Scotland, where they have planned to shoot a couple of song sequences.
The film, which is remake of Tamil hit “Poojai” has Rashmika Mandanna playing female lead. This is her second film as heroine after “Kirik Party”, which was a massive hit. The film also has Chikanna, Ramya Krishna and Mukesh Tiwari in pivotal roles.
Harsha is directing the film and this is his first remake. Known for films like “Bhajrangi” and “Vajrakaya”, the popular choreographer turned director is said to have changed nearly 60 percent of the screenplay from the Tamil version. Ravi Basrur has composed the music for the film.
