Looks like Rockline Venkatesh is leaving no stone unturned for his upcoming production, which will star Ravichandran’s elder son Manoranjan. The film which is a remake of Tamil super hit film ‘Velaiyilla Pattathari’, will reportedly star Amala Paul.
The popular actress, who has worked with big stars like Vijay in south, may be pairing with newbie Manoranjan in the Kannada version. She had played the lead in the Tamil version. Nanda Kishore, who is directing the film, feels that Amala will be the best choice for the Kannada version.

Amala has already been approached for the role. However, she has not given her consent yet. She is still working on the dates. If Amala agrees to work on the project, this will be her second Kannada film. She is already acting with ‘Abhinaya Chakravarthy’ Sudeep in ‘Hebulli’.

The Kannada version of ‘VIP’ is scheduled to go on floors in September.
