“Adi Purana” gets ‘thumbs-up’ from audience after premier shows

Kannada family entertainer “Aadi Purana”, which had its premiere show in Davangere and Bengaluru on October 2 and 3 respectively and the response gathered from these shows has been extraordinary. The film is all set to release tomorrow.

Commenting on the film, Sudharshan, a techie who watched the film in Bengaluru said, “The film is a must watch. From the trailer, it looked like a naughty film meant only for youngsters. But that is not the case. It is an entertainer which can be watched by families. The film has a wonderful message and the best part is the comedy. There is not a single dull moment in the film. I am sure this film will join the list of successful Kannada films this year.”

Meanwhile, the third premiere show of the film will be held at DRC Cinemas in Mysuru today at 7 PM.

The film, which stars Shashank, Ahalya Suresh and Moksha Kushal in lead roles, marks the debut of popular editor Mohan Kamakshi as a director. Apart from directing, Mohan has also written the story and screenplay and edited the film. Produced by Samanth K Rao under Rainbow Productions banner, the film also has veteran actors Rangayana Raghu, Nagendra Sha and Vatsala Mohan in pivotal roles. Guru Prasad is the cinematographer for the film.
