A M R Ramesh’s ‘Aspota’ which is based on the assassination of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi has been launched. Retired Special Director of CBI D R Karthikeyan, retired DGPs Kuchanna Srinivasan and Gopal B Hosur and retired DG and IGP Ramalingam handed over the script and the clap board of the film to A M R Ramesh.
The film is being made simultaneously in four languages, viz. Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The shooting for the film is all set to start in the month of November. This is not the first time Ramesh has made a film on Rajiv Gandhi’s death. He had made “Cyanide” few years back.
The shooting for “Aspota” will be held in Bengaluru, Chennai, Sri Lanka and other places.
