Mangaluru: ‘May 22 The Last flight’, a motion picture under the banner of Aurora team was released by Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner A B Ibrahim at Big Cinemas on Friday, May 21.

Speaking on the occasion, Ibrahim said that, the album forces us to remember the incident which shook the hearts and minds of people of this country.

“The album expresses the pain of the families who lost their loved ones,” he said after congratulating the team for their effort.

May 22 The Last Flight is based on the air crash which took place in 2010 near Mangaluru airport. It consists of 5000 still images and 25000 layers including video visuals. It is a different work done by the Aurora team. The motion picture is released in Tulu, Kannada and Hindi language. It is the first motion picture released in Karnataka.

V J Vineet and Nehal Parinita are in the lead role. Dinesh Acharya has co-produced and directed the motion picture and he is the one behind the concept. The Kannada lyrics were composed by Karan manjunath and Hindi by Muhammad Ibaad. Harish Nayak is behind the cinematography. Mime Ramdas involved in the making and production.
Big Cinemas Chief Balakrishna Shetty, Red Rocks Builders Owner Prashanth Rasquinha and others were present.
