There have been certain citations and feedback from enthusiasts stating the testing of the next generation Swift a few months ago, and it is all set to make an elite appearance on the Geneva Motor show which is to be held in March, 2017.
The improvised version of Swift would continue to precede Baleno in the global line-up of Suzuki, and is likely to be more lightweight as compared to the latter. However, these two vehicles are not exclusive to each other – there is a fair amount of overlap as far as the engine and other parts of the car is concerned.
The liter Boosterjet engine running on petrol would continue to feature in Swifts and sold in international markets.Despite all, the most visible change which has been brought forward in the new generation of Swift is the aesthetics of the car design. There has been a visible shift from the current generation Swift which is on-road. While there are certain subtle elements such as the floating roof which tend to tie it to the previous generation, the front end of the car has undergone massive improvisations.
The interior too, has experienced certain substantial changes like the 3 spoke steering wheel, like Porsche. Dimensionally though, there hasn’t been much of a difference as the car maker has avoided any intrusion to the Baleno.
