Mahindra and Mahindra are yet to be in double mind about the launch date of which was seen first in Auto Expo 2016 in February.
According to Dr. Pawan Goenka, executive director, M&M, in Delhi that they are willing to launch and have already completed some initial engineering works. He again mentioned that “The business viability about the same is yet to finalized”.

Owing to his statement, it can be speculated that the vehicle is not going to be soon in the market. The launch will only be after once company will be satisfied regarding its demand. Thus, even after a go-ahead, it will take minimum 2 years for production before the vehicle will catch the road.

Even after some positive signs, the company is still in dilemma for launching it in the Indian market because of its high pricing, as per Dr. Goenka.

Completely new concept for Indian Market.

The XUV Aero can be considered as a hybrid of XUV500. It includes a suicide door at one side and shares most of the styling features to the Mahindra SUV.

The XUV Aero has various drive and suspension modes like Race, Off-Road, Street and Sport, furthermore gets an all-new 210bhp mHawk engine can cover 0-60kph in 6 seconds.

This segment of vehicle in India is seen only in some luxury cars like Mercedes and BMW. With this XUV Aero, Mahindra has decided to unlock this niche segment.
