As per the earlier announcement, the Skoda Auto India is set to launch 4 new models in 2017. The Czech manufacturer, this time will be giving more attention on the improvement of after sales service and experience and investing Rs. 100 crores for the same. Introducing 2 of its model (Kodiaq and Octavia RS are premium) to India has been already decided along with the Skoda Rapid Monte Carlo edition which is already running on the European roads in the Fabia guise.
The fourth model “Skoda Octavia Black edition” will also be seen on Indian roads at the end of 2017.
Reportedly, the Octavia black edition will have Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) with few cosmetic twists. There will be no alteration in engines and will come with the existing engine specifications.
The DCC will add an institutive and a more varied experience to the driver. All of these will depend on the selected driving mode. At the push of a button, an electronic valve controls the flow of oil within the suspension adapting it to the style of driving and the mode as well.
Regarding its beautification, the re-styled bumpers, blacked out lamps, a dark-themed interior, new touch-screen infotainment system etc. will add an extra charm to this new model. All the models will have airbags as standard equipment.
