Sudeep’s new film ‘Kotigobba 2’ is all set to release on the auspicious day of Varmahalakshmi festival on August 12. ‘Kotigobba 2’ stars Nitya Menon, Chikkanna, Mukesh Tiwari, Devaraj, Sadhu Kokila, Sharath and Ravishankar in pivotal roles.
The film is being produced by Soorappa Babu and directed by K S Ravikumar. The music for the film has been composed by Imaan. The songs have got good response in the audio market.

Sudeep’s last release was ‘Ranna’ in June 2015. ‘Kotigobba 2’ is releasing in 1000 screens in Tamil and Kannada. With the release date announced, we will have to wait and see if Puneeth’s ‘Dodmane Huduga’ will also release during the festival time. It was initially announced that ‘Dodmane Hudga’ will release on August 11. However with ‘Kotigobba 2’ makers making official announcement, the makers of ‘Dodmane Huduga’ may postpone the film by a week or two.
