Abu Dhabi:UAE has achieved another world record as it launches the largest photo album which contains rare and historic pictures of the founder of the emirates, the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
Launched at the Emirates Palace Hotel in the capital on tuesday , this event marked the celebration of “A Touch of Fidelity” as announced by the Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs (ZHO).
It is been officially recorded in the Guinness World Records, consists of around 210 colour and black and white historic pictures.
The photos have been collected by special needs people at ZHO from several sources in cooperation with the Emirates Heritage Club and Abdullah Al Kaabi, the photographer who accompanied Shaikh Zayed for many years during his various tours and visits.
Her Highness Shaikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Womens Union, Supreme Chairperson of the Family Development Foundation (FDF) and Head of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, was also honoured during the celebration.
