Dubai: ‘Udenthichim Neketram’ Moodbidri Varado Catholic Association (MVCA) celebrated their decennial year with grandeur on Friday, April 24 at The India Club, Dubai.

The program commenced with prayer dance performed by Ritz Dance group Dubai followed by lighting the lamp by 13 members representing 13 parishes of Moodbidri Varado.

A visual presentation was held showcasing accomplishments of MVCA in last Decade. A brief stage program was conducted during the event.

The chief guest Walter Nandalike, welcomed on stage along with President Arun Dsouza, Secretary Joshve Dsouza and Treasurer John Rego. Association President welcomed the gathering and thanked sponsors and well-wishers for their support in last decade towards the Association.

Secretary Joshve presented achievements made by the association over the past 10 years. Sponsors were felicitated during the event by the unique memento presented by chief guest Walter Nandalike.

Chief Guest Walter Nandalike congratulated MVCA for their accomplishments in last 10 years and wished all the best for the future. “Give half an hour for yourself every day, do some exercises for healthy life and avoid regretting later” he said.

“Indeed this is need of the hour in our busy work schedule and everyone present promised to take this advice”, he added.

During the programme the association offered bundle of entertainments in the form of comedy skits, dances and spot games, which were thoroughly enjoyed by the gathering. Skits were performed by ‘Pokri Byndoor’ team Ashok and Kiran – association members Joel, Joshve, Vicky and Herald.

“Ritz” dance troupe performed some remarkable dance numbers. Several dances were presented by Rudolf and Group, Livana and Group, Waluscha and group.

The entire event was compered by Melwin Vas Siddakatte. Vote of thanks proposed by Richard Saldanha Sampige.
