Dubai: Tulu Cultural Festival ‘Tuluva Siri Isira 2015’ will be hosted by Tulu Siri Dubai a newly formed organisation here on Friday the 27th February, 2015 at the India Club, Karama Dubai (Behind Indian High School). The day long programme will commence at 10.30 AM in the morning and conclude at around 6.00 PM.
District Rajyothswava Awardee Dr. Y.N. Shetty from Udupi will be inaugurating the programme. he programme is organised by President B.K. Padmaraj Yekkar.
The day long programme includes, Sahitya Siri – a collection of various books on Tulu and various Tulu Musical CD’s will be released on the occasion, Bhashey Siri which will be will be presided over by B.K. Ganesh Rai and will also have speakers from Abu Dhabi, Manohar Thonse, from Dubai, Nanu Marol & Sudharshan Hegde & from Sharjah Sannu Monis & Padmaraj Yekkar.
Kabithe Siri another facet of the programme, will be presided over by Irshad Moodbidri, Dubai. Poets like Gopinath Rao from Sharjah, M.E. Moolur from Dubai, Robert Fernandes Udyavara from Dubai, Stany D’Souza Bela from Dubai, Arthur Pereira Omzoor from Dubai will be reciting poetry at the event.
Sangeetha Siri, yet another dimension, will be co-ordinated by Musician Arun Carlo & Group, singers Dony Correa, Preema Rodrigues, Asha Correa & Sandra D’Souza will entertain the audience with melodious songs.
For the Samskruthika Siri, Ganesh Shetty Bailoor & Group will be presenting ‘Tulu Naada Vaibhava’ an cultural dance show choreographed by Jasmitha Vivek of Smile Creations and dancer Kum. Sparsha Shetty.
The closing ceremony will be headed by Dr. Y.N. Shetty, and graced by Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha President, Sarvotham Shetty, Fortune Group of Hotels MD, Praveen Shetty, Editor in Chief of Daijiworld, Walter Nandalike, Chilli Willy Trading MD, Satish Venkataramana, Spraytech Contracting Co., MD, Ramachandra Hegde, Acme Building Materials MD, Harish Sherigar, Dhwani Prathistana President, Prakash Rao Payyar, Daiji Rangh Manch President, Dayan D’Souza and Impress Tech Co LLC, MD. Sudhir Kumar Raju Poojary as Chief Guests of the programme.
The show will be compered by Namma TV fame Navin Shetty Edmaar from Mangalore.
