Social Activist Leeladhar Baikampady receives ‘Rastreeya Ektaa Award’

Bahrain: The dynamic youth organizer and social activist, Bahrain based Non-Resident-Indian Leeladhar Baikampady who is the recent recipient of coveted ‘Rashtreeya Bhushan’ national award from Bangalore based ‘Bharath Rathna Sir M. Vishweshwarayya Foundation’ received the prestigious ‘Rastreeya Ektaa Award’ by New Delhi based ‘All India National Unity Council’ here on Friday.

He has been awarded for his remarkable and unceasing contributions to the diversified fields of youth organizing, social service, land & language, literature, culture, charity and also for social organization related activities carried out in his life since past 28 years.

The award was presented on the occasion of National integration festival by former governor and union minister Dr Bheeshma Narayana Singh. Council president and former election Chief Dr G V G Krishnamurthy presented gold medal to Leeladhar. Karnataka former governor Dr T N Chaturvedi, Bihar and Tripura former governor Dr Devananda Konwar and Podichery former governor Iqbal Singh were present.
