Dubai: St. Mary’s Mangalorean Community (SMMC) Dubai is announces its gracious event ‘SMMC Cricket & Throw Ball Cup – 2016’. It is a friendly, one day indoor tournament taking place at the In Sportz Club Dubai on Friday, February 12 2016.

SMMC is a novel organization, initiated in 2013 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church Dubai to gratify the spiritual and commercial requirements of the vast Mangalorean Community of Dubai.  With the support of SMMC Spiritual Director Rev. Fr. Robert Lasrado, the present SMMC Committee has now organized the tournament as its first venture of the year 2016.  

SMMC solicits kind support for this event through generous contribution and active participation to make this event a successful one.

This contest is a full day indoor event, open only for Catholic teams, where more than 30 teams for the Cricket (Men), Throw Ball (Women) & Throw Ball (Men) from different emirates will participate.   Attractive gifts and trophies will be presented to the winning and outstanding teams.

Registration fee will be AED 600/- per team. It will be open on ‘first come first serve’ basis.  Water and lunch will be provided for each participating team.
