Dubai : Sathish Poojary, the former president of Karnataka Sangh Sharjah has been honoured with Chanakya Award for his social service. The award is given for the valuable contributions in the field of Public Relations by Public Relation Council Of India.

Sathish, a founding President of Karnataka Sangh Sharjah, has been granted this Chanakya Award for his exemplary work towards education, blood donation camp, Sports etc.

He was honoured in the presence of Neela Sathyanarayan, the chief electoral officer Maharashtra, J S Sahariya, the secretory of Government of Maharashtra, Rajashree Birla, the director of Birla group and many others.

From past 25 years, Sathish resides in Dubai. He has rendered his valuable service in Billawas Dubai and Northern Emirates, Namma Tuluver, Shree Sathyanarayana Pooja Samithi, Dhvani Prathishtana and several other associations.

He was also honoured by Vijay College Mulki, Dhvani Prathisthana, Billawas Maha Mandala Mulki, Billawas Association Mumbai, Billawas Dubai and Northern Emirates and Billawas Sangh Dubai and many other renowned organizations.

He is married to Suvarna Sathish. He has two children Shravan and Shruthi.
