Dubai: The fasting month of Ramadan will begin on Thursday and tomorrow  (Wednesday) is the end of the month of Shaaban, Saudi Arabia announced on Tuesday.

In a statement carried by local newspapers, the Saudi Supreme Court said the moon had not been sighted tonight, which means Ramadan will begin on Thursday.

“Tomorrow is the end of the month of Shaaban and Thursday is the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan,” the Court said.
