Qatar: KMCA holds iftar get-together

Doha: Karnataka Muslim Cultural Association organised their annual Iftar get-together for the community members at ICC Ashoka Hall on Friday evening, July 4.

The program started at 5 p.m. with the prayer by master Ayaan Khan. Senior community leader Syed Abdul Hye gave a motivational speech.

Mohammed Nadeem Hyderbad briefs the benefits of Ramadan fasting and Islamic culture. He also added, during Ramadan through family and community gatherings, Muslims strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood, in their own communities and throughout the world.

President of KMCA Niyaz Ahmed addressed welcome note to the gathering and raised his voice for thanks to members who render their supports. General Secretary Ibraiz Khan read out the annual report with the full details of the entire program organised by KMCA from last year and highlights the future plans. The KMCA treasurer Fayaz Ahmed read out the annual financial report 2013-14. Both the reports were approved from members.

KSQ president Deepak Shetty, Tulukoota Qatar president Ravi Shetty, MCC president Norbert Corda, Bunts Qatar president Prakashchandra Ajila, Billva Sangha Qatar president Divakar Poojary, Abdul Majeed SKMWA, Asmath Ali of Kundapur Taluk Welfare Association, the president of ICBF Kareem Abdulla, acting president ICC Girish Kumar, Arun Kumar, Milan Arun, Sanjay Kudri, M I Fareed, Habibullah Nabhi, Sayed Abdul Hye along with other prominent leaders, head of KSQ and representatives of Tulu Koota attended.

Around 300 members along with their families attended the program. Dinner was served after the prayers and the program concluded at 8.00 pm.
