Doha: A thrilling and electrifying Bollywood extravaganza featuring famous actor, director & choreographer Prabhu Deva, renowned actress Ileana D’cruz as well as singer and rapper Badshah is set to rock Doha on January 15 at Westend Park.
The event will be organized by Kling- Film events & entertainments, and the Gates will be open for the public at 5.30pm.
The Managing partner of Kling-film events & entertainments Ayesha Ahmed said, “The event will be a rare occasion for the large number of Indian expatriates in Qatar to watch big time actor, director, and choreographer Prabhu Deva dubbed as ‘Indian Michael Jackson’ performing on the stage along with bollywood star Ileana D’cruz & Rapper Badshah in an array of non-stop entertainment.
Prabhu Deva is an Indian film actor, director and dance choreographer known for his works predominantly in Tamil, Telugu, Bollywood, Malayalam and Kannada films. In a career spanning twenty-five years, he has performed and designed a wide range of dancing styles. He has garnered two National Film Awards for Best Choreography; widely referred in the media as Indian Michael Jackson.
Beginning with a series of acting roles in the 1990s and early 2000s including Kadhalan (1994), Love Birds , Minsara Kanavu, Kaathala Kaathala and Vanathai Pola, Deva then ventured into direction with the 2005 Telugu filmNuvvostanante Nenoddantana. He then went on to direct films in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil languages such as Shankardada Zindabad, Pokkiri, Wanted, Rowdy Rathore and R… Rajkumar.
Ileana D’Cruz is an Indian film actress, who appears in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi films. She won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut South for the 2006 Telugu film Devadasu. She has appeared in films like Pokiri (2006), Jalsa(2008), Kick (2009), and Julayi (2012), establishing herself as one of Telugu cinema leading actresses. D’Cruz made her Kollywood debut with Kedi and made a comeback in Shankar’s Nanban (2012). In 2012, she made her Bollywood debut with Anurag Basu’s critically and commercially successful Barfi!, for which she received critical appreciation and the Film fare Award for Best Female Debut.
