Abu Dhabi: India Social and Cultural Centre (ISC), Abu Dhabi, the largest socio cultural organization for the Indian community outside India will be hosting Mr. ISC- UAE Open Body Building Competition – 2016 at the India Social & Cultural Centre premises on 16th December, 2016. NMC Healthcare, Al Samir Enterprises and other prominent Banking sector are the sponsors for this event.
ISC facilitates its members with Badminton, Squash, Tennis, Table Tennis, Snooker, Swimming pool and a high profile Gymnasium. With a current strength of over 2,300 members (8000 including dependants) and with its state -of the -art building spanning over an area of 100,000 Sq. Ft, India Social & Cultural Centre, Abu Dhabi enjoys an atmosphere of harmony and goodwill. This premier organization was established in the year 1967 and Socio-Cultural & recreational activities and Sports have been incessant the routine functioning. Throughout these 49 years of its existence, the centre by its own pride and dignity, has always been recognized as a unique platform for all highly reputed Corporate to associate, wherein the benefits rewarded are mutually. The Centre also works as an effective platform in bridging the Indo-Arab cultural link and fostering the age old relationship between the two Nations.
M. Thomas Varghese, the President of ISC announced the launching of the Mr. ISC- UAE Open Body Building Competition – 2016. The GYM section in ISC Abu Dhabi itself has strength of more than 500 members, utilizing the facility on a regular basis.
Thomas Varghese further remarked that the highlight of this privileged Event is that this competition is open for all Nationalities residing all over the UAE. More than 150 Participants from different nationalities across the emirates are expected to participate in this elite competition. ISC has been promoting Body Building event consistently for more than 2 decades in this region. The main objective of this Event, is to inspire the spirit of fitness and workouts irrespective of Nationalities and to bring them together utilizing the platform of the one and only India Social and Cultural Centre. “We are fortunate to have 2 Mr. Universes as Guest postures in the earlier Body Building Competitions. Even IFBB President witnessed Power Lifting Competition in the old ISC premises,” he said.
John P. Varghese, the General Secretary remarked that the overall participation is expected to reveal a show worthy of excellent skills combined with high endurance levels, and having a goal to attain the elite championship under the aegis of ISC, Abu Dhabi. It is a great opportunity for all the Body Building and fitness lovers around U.A.E. to witness this challenging sporting event which will be conducted on 16th December 2016. The total Prize Money are worth over AED 40,000.00.
