Qatar: Mangalore Cricket Club (MCC), Qatar is all set to host its 15th Annual MCC Ladies Open Throwball Tournament during this weekend 3rd and 4th November 2016 at the old Ideal Indian School Grounds, near Midmac Flyover, Salwa Road.

This tournament for ladies is one event which is eagerly awaited for year after year by all ladies and their families along with team supporters to witness some spectacular matches, enjoy thrilling games and to exhibit good sporting skills. This tournament also gives an opportunity to men to be on the field as they give tough practice sessions to ladies to prepare well for their tournament.

This year 5 teams, namely, Tulu Koota, Karnataka Sangha Qatar, Konkan Stars, Al Khor Community and host team MCC will battle once again for the prestigious MCC Trophy. League matches will be played on Thursday, 3rd November soon after an inaugural program starting at 6.00 pm and continued on Friday 4th November at 3.30 pm. This will be followed by official stage function around 6.30 pm and then the exciting Final match will be played followed by prize distribution ceremony.

Last year 2015 Throwball Champions were host MCC team and runners-up were Tulukoota team. MCC team has been successful to win the Champions title consecutively for 2 years. Will MCC team be able to win the title for the third time in a row and be the Champions this year? Come and witness it on the grounds on 3rd and 4th November 2016.
