Doha, Qatar: Mangalore Cultural Association unveiled the year’s sensational Konkani Album ‘Hero-only yours’ here at ICC -Kolkata Hall, Qatar on Friday Morning.

MCA president Arthur Pais, Vice president Aloysius Dsouza, General secretary Sandeep Noronha, Tresurer Clement Saldanha, renowned Konkani singer Veena Rebimbus Pais and other committee members were present on the occasion.

Konkani Audio Album ‘Hero-only yours’ is a production under the DC creation banner and UAE resident renowned Konkani singer Dony Correa composed lyrics and tunes for the album, Music is composed and arranged by Roshan D’Souza Angelore. Title track is sung by Kunal Ganjawala of bollywood fame, who is indeed very happy about the song.

The variety of songs adds to the uniqueness of the album, which includes a couple of celebration songs, a Goan Dekni, a super subject oriented song, a semi-classical number and other soothing melodies. They are sung by noted and popular singers from Manguluru, Goa and Mumbai. Singers were chosen based on the style and type of the song.

Different types of live instruments including violins, violas, saxophone, flute, trumpet, melodeon, lead and bass guitars, tabla, and a variety of percussions have been utilized in the making of this musical treasure. Renowned musicians from Kerala, Goa and Mangaluru have been brought together to deliver this divine music. Mixing and mastering of this album has been done by Nithin Kottungall at Orpheus Studio, Ernakulam.

The album is a blend of meaningful lyrics, soothing tunes, melodious singing and soulful music.
