Doha: Mangalore Cultural Association, an organization for Mangaloreans in Qatar,  organised it’s annual family picnic for its members at Al-Ghariya Resort on 4th October Saturday.

More than 200 members arose early to travel by bus to the resort. The journey was enjoyable as the members were all in a holiday mood and entertained each other with songs & dance.

The Picnic began with a sumptuous breakfast.  President Arthur Pais welcomed the picnickers. . Rev.Fr. Lancy Fernandes graced the occasion as the chief guest and also spoke on the occasion. The Picnic programme then took off with fun group games organized and compered by Wilma D’Souza, Santan Danthy, Shalini Mendonca & Wilson Mendonca.  The participation was energetic and comprehensive and it was quality family time for all. 

Gilbert lobo, Jason Quadros, clement Saldanha helped with the food arrangements, while Sandeep Noronha coordinated the transport arrangements.

After lunch, prize distribution has done. Arthur pais thanked advisory member Felix Lobo for providing all facilities for this picnic.
