Dubai: In order to promote the Konkani language and Konkani artistes, Mangalore Konkans Dubai is organizing a UAE level group talent contest “Vividh Vinodaval Spordho 2015” on October 16 at the JSS School Auditorium, Dubai.

This contest will provide an opportunity for all enthusiastic and talented Mangaloreans to take part ,as it offers avenues for dancing, acting, emceeing and any other entertaining act,  to showcase their talents.

This unique contest which was held previously in 2013, witnessed tremendous  response from the audience as well as the participants. The huge success of this event has prompted Mangalore Konkans Dubai to organize the contest again.

Themes for Presentation are Patriotism / Peace and Harmony / Save the Environment / Social Issues while the criteria for judgement of the winner are originality, creativity, presentation, team involvement and morale/message conveyed through selected theme.

Best MC, Best Male Artiste, Best Female Artiste and Best Child Performer will be awarded trophies. There will also be cash prizes – 1st Place: AED:3000/-  & trophy, 2nd  Place :AED:2000/-  & trophy, and 3rd place AED:1000/- & trophy

It will not be a contest alone. There will be performances from UAE’s own Konkani artistes as well as mesmerizing dances from FEET BEAT dance group.

Last date for team registration is 30th September 2015. Hurry and register now as only maximum of 8 teams will be accepted for registration on a first come first served basis.
