Dubai: For the fourth consecutive year, with an aim to support the noble cause as to reduce the shortage of blood in blood banks during month of Ramadan fasting, members and well-wishers of ‘KaDaM’ (Kundapura Devadiga Mitra) thronged at the Al Latifa Hospital, Dubai on July 7 to donate blood. The theme was to “Give Blood and Give life”.

Out of the 60 people gathered there around 46 people were able to donate blood on the day. ‘KaDaM’ as usual upheld the motto of caring for the people. There were first time donors who overcame their fear of donating blood, it is said.

There were some well-wishers of KaDaM who came forward to donate blood as well. KaDaM thanked the staff of Al Latifa Hospital for the assistance they provided and the members and well wishers who actively participated to make the event a successful one. Elegant Group of companies supported the cause with their employees participating in the blood donation camp.

A certificate from KaDaM was presented to all donors as a symbol of respect & gratitude for coming forward to donate blood.
