Qatar: Karnataka Sangha Qatar, a nodal socio-cultural and philanthropic organisation of expats hailing from the state of Karnataka, organized its annual Blood Donation Drive at Hamad Medical Corporation, Blood Donors unit on 12th September.

Welcoming the gathering Deepak Shetty, president of the Sangha stressed on the importance of blood donation and said it is in line with KSQ’s commitment to do charitable activities aimed at serving the community and country we live in, and assured members of more such charitable activities in the near future.

Dr M.Vishwanath Kini spoke at length about the benefits of donating blood.

Nagesh Rao, Vice President compered the event and proposed the vote of thanks.

The noble cause received an overwhelming response with more than 175 people attended the event and 55 people were successful in donating the blood.
