Doha-Qatar: Karnataka Sangha Qatar, a frontline community group celebrated World Environment Day by planting trees at Al-Jassra Ready-mix, Lusail Plant premises on Friday morning.

KSQ new president H.K.Madhu welcomed the gathering and escorted the CEO of Al-Jassra ready mix Mr.Venkat Rao – the chief guest of the day – to the dais.  Venkat Rao addressed the gathering with highlighting importance of World Environment Day celebration.

KSQ former president and Chairman of Advisory board Deepak Shetty also spoke on the occasion. He highlighted the message proclaimed by the World health Organization’s this year theme “Seven Billion Dreams – One Planet – Consume with Care.”

KSQ active member Imran gave a short message on World Environment Day. Tufail Mateen Khan compered the event and Sandesh Anand proposed the vote of thanks.

Later the management team of Al-Jassra ready mix and KSQ members conducted plantations in the surroundings. All members along with children participated in program enthusiastically.
