Dubai: Karnataka Cultural Foundation (KCF) Dubai will organize a conference on the occasion of India’s 70th Independence Day in Dubai. The conference is scheduled to be held on Friday, August 19 at 7.30 pm at Musalla Tower near Al Fahidi Metro Station, Bur Dubai. Several prominent scholars and distinguished guests will grace the event.
KCF Dubai President Mehboob Raahman Saqafi Kinya will preside over the function. The grand ceremony will be inaugurated by Sheikh Bava Haj, General Secretary of KCF International Committee. The message of Independence Day will be conveyed by Abdul Hameed Saadi, Chairman of the KCF National Committee of UAE; Usman Haji Napokl, KCF UAE General Secretary; Sarvathoma Shetty, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha and Frank Fernandes, famous businessmen from Dubai.
On the occasion, a non-resident, Abdul Rauf, a resident of Kotekar Mangaluru will be honoured for his outstanding contribution of art. He has crafted 37 ships by using waste materials. As a part of encouraging literature, KCF Dubai had conducted essay writing competition on the topic “Sovereign India and Indians “. The winner will be honored at the event.
Prominent leaders of KCF and other organizations and Intuitional leaders like Abdul Jaleel Nizami, Ibrahim Saqafi Kedumbadi, Hussain Haji Kinya, PMH Abdul Hameed Eshwara Mangila, M Ebrahim Mulur, Abdul Lathif Mulky Sharjah, Ashraf Haji Adyar, Abdul Razak Haji Sharjah, KH Mohammed Saqafi Abu Dhabi, Abdul Khader Sa’adi Ajman and Abdul Razak Haji Natekal Al Ain will be participating in the function.
KCF Dubai has requested all non-residents to take part in the scheduled programme and assist for its grand success.
A special magazine ‘Samarasya’ was released on the occasion of the 70th Independence Day.
Earlier Kalandar Kabaka (Gen.Secretary Dubai KCF) welcomed to all the pres meet. Mahboob Saqafi Kinya (Chairman Dubai KCF) gave the detailed information about Sneha Sangama celebration. Rafiq Sampya (Secretary, Publishing Division) thanked all who were present in the press conference. Rafeek Kalladka (President, Administration Division) and other KCF members Azeed lathef, Ismail Madani, Farooq Nata and Rasheed Padil were present.
