Dubai: Karnataka Sangha Sharjah (KSS), an association which works for wellness and promotion of Kannada and its culture celebrated a grand Iftar meet at Rafee Hotel Deira, Dubai.
Speaking to the gathering, Vice president of KSS ME Muloor, elaborated the real meaning behind the Iftar and fasting. Adding his words he said, fasting is made to realize the difficulties of life and other poor human beings who are struggling to get their livelihood. The one month sacrifice should create internal changes and it must reflect in our daily activities. Also he said, nowadays people of every religion are exploring their mindsets to embrace the goodness of other religions and it will surely create peace and harmony in the society in the coming few years.
Patron of KSS, Mark Denis D’souza; former president of KSS, Satish Venkataramana; president of Billawas Dubai and former president of KSS Satish Poojary and Vice president of Bearys Cultural Forum Lathif Mulky were present on the dais. They congratulated KSS for this initiation to conduct the Iftar meet with multi religion gathering and wished all success for its future events and noble causes.
President of KSS Sugandhraj Bekal expressed his happiness for joining hands for the first ever Iftar meet of KSS. He said, KSS is working with one motto to serve society and promote Kannada without any caste and religion aspects. He wished that all may receive the blessings of Ramadan and excel in their life.
Chief Secretary of KSS Razaak welcomed the gathering. Prabhakar Ambalatere compered and presented the vote of thanks.
