Doha: Karnataka Muslim Cultural Association, Doha, Qatar (KMCA) organized an Iftar party for its members and their families at the Indian Cultural Center (ICC) on July 3, 2015. The event commenced with the recitation of verses from the holy Quran.

Around 300 members including women joined the Iftar programe. Separate seating arrangements were made for the ladies.

President of the forum Niyaz Ahmed welcomed the gathering. Following which, a symposium highlighting the importance of the Holy month of Ramzan, its benefits and impact was addressed by Moulana Hafiz Mohammed Jaffer. Saquib Raza Khan proposed the vote of thanks. Saeed Assadi compered the event.

Prominent members from the Karnataka Expatriate community including ICC President Girish Kumar, IBPN President KM Varghese, ICC General Secretary Mr. Divakar Poojary, President of Tulu Koota, Qatar Ravi Shetty, President of Karnataka Sangh Qatar Madhu, President of Bunts Sangh Qatar Prakash Chandra Ajila, SKMWA President Abdul Majeed, former President of KSQ  Arun Kumar, former President Tulu Koota Qatar Ramachandra Shetty, Habibul Nabi and several dignitaries attended the programme.
