Dubai: An initiative of Kannada Mitraru Dubai – Kannad lovers at Dubai to educate NRI kannadigas children to write, speak and read Kannada language Kannada Paata shale concludes its activities in grand manner.

Dr. Shivakumar CEO of JSS international school, Mr. Praveen Shetty-Managing Director of Fortune group of hotels, Mr. Sateesh Venkataramana proprietor of Chilly Willy food products were chief guests for the function.

Thechief guests, inaugurated the function in traditional way by lighting the lamp and the chief of Kannada Mitraru Dubai Mr. Shashidhar Nagarajappa welcomed the guests and gathered parents.

Mr. Praveen Shetty in his speech, congratulated all members of Kannada paata shale and teachers who contributed their efforts to teach Kannada to children and extended his support in coming days to cultivate Kannada at UAE.

Dr Shivakumar and Mr. Sateesh wished all the best to children and motivated them to live with their mother tongue and state language of Karnataka.

Mr. Deepak Somashekhar presented a short video showing the activities carried out at Kannada Paata shale.

Guests honored all children with certificates and gold medals as a token of appreciation.

Mr. Praveen Shetty presented mementos to all teachers who spared their free time to teach students. Kannada Paata shale children presented their various talents in a stage show, which included singing, dancing, music instrument play and comedy skits.
