Jet Airways to operate M’luru-Sharjah daily flight from Aug 7

Sharjah: Making passengers travel easy to Gulf countries, Jet Airways announced new flights from Mangaluru to Sharjah, UAE from August 7.

This is Jet Airways’ third direct flight service from India to destinations in the UAE. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are the other two destinations from where daily flights operate to Mangaluru International Airport.

With the new flight from August, Mangaluru International Airport will handle eight flights in the international sector, including from the Air India Express, said J.T. Radhakrishna, Director of Mangaluru International Airport, in a release.

The Air India Express operates two daily flights to Dubai and one daily flight to Abu Dhabi from Mangaluru. In addition, it operates flights to Damman, Muscat, Doha, Bahrain and Kuwait three days a week, he said.

The inaugural flight (Flight No 9W503) will fly from Mangaluru at 9:30 am and reach Sharjah at 11.45 am. The return flight (Flight No 9W504) will leave Sharjah at 12.45pm and land in Mangaluru at 5.55 pm.

In an introductory offer, Sharjah-Mangaluru Economy Fare starts from AED 509 one way and AED 1144 for Round Trip. Premium Fare is AED 1839 one way and AED 3044 for Round Trip.
