Indian community in Dubai celebrates Varamahalakshmi Vritha with fervour

Dubai : Shree Varamahalakshmi Pooja was celebrated with religious fervour and gaiety  by the Indian community  at the Indian Academic School Auditorium at Guisses here on Friday August 8. Thousands of devotees participated in the rituals and accepted the Mahaprasada. Married women offered prayers and lighted the lamp as part of the festivity.

There was even a Bhajans programme while the rituals were held under the guidance of priest Raghu Bhat.  Jayanthi Satish Ullal couple sat for the pooja on behalf of all the devotees.

The Pooja Mantap decorated aesthetically by Rajesh  Kuttar and his team attracted the attention of many.  All those who assisted in the successful conduct of the programme were felicitated by presenting mementoes. Ramananda Belapu and Rajesh Kuttar compered the programme.

Suvarna Satish Poojari of the executive committee, Jayashree Sudhaker Poojary, Aruna Jagadish, Udaya Kumar Kateel, Jagannath Bellare, Ramanand Belapu,  Satish Ullal, Sudhaker Poojari, Rajesh Kuttar, Prakash Pakkala, Balakrishna Salian and several others strived for the success of the religious event.

Leaders and members of various  Indian organisations in UAE participated  in the  rituals along with their family members.
