‘Goencho Avaz’ artists all set to entertain Dubai music lovers

Dubai: ‘Goencho Avaz’ the renowned Konkani singing competition by Herald group will be now heading to Dubai. Lorna, the Nightingale of Goa will be lending her melodious voice during the event.
All selected finalists of Goa’s No. 1 Konkani music show, Anslem Fernandes, Assenca Fernandes, Divya Naik, Everleigh Mascarenhas, Frenzie Vito Rodrigues, Valerie Fernandes, Shunaina Baptista, Scully D’Souza, Karishma Chari, Raiza Pereira, Loy D’Silva and Siyani Fernandes have arrived in Dubai and are all set to rock the stage today, March 10, 2016 at Sheikh Rashid Auditorium, Indian High School, Oud Mehta Road, Dubai.

Duo Loy and Siyani will be performing all time classical numbers of yesteryears, live with Norman Cardozo at the event which will commence from 8 PM onwards.

Goa’s prized event is going international due to the efforts of Javeria Rasheed, managing director of Eventz Unlimited, and philanthrophist Glenn Ebnett, who is the main coordinator. Javeria is a noticed personality in the world of fashion and event management who started off as a simple girl from Chennai. Her efforts and perseverance took her up the ladder of success, making her the chairperson of the Fashion Department of a University.

The next decade saw tremendous growth and she was held solely responsible for the department’s expansion and development. Her constant efforts and ideas made it possible for fashion to be appreciated in the University.

Over the years she had earned some commendable credibility among people of the fashion industry and media marketing, making her a successful entrepreneur in Dubai. Her joining force with Glenn spells a great opportunity for the young musicians of Goa.

The event which was scheduled for March 5, has been postponed to March 10, 2016.
