Emirates Paradela’s signature event enthralls UAE music lovers

Abu Dhabi: An enthralling musical treat for music lovers of the UAE was organized at the Indian Social and Cultural Centre of Abu Dhabi on Friday February 12. It was a signature event by Emirates Paradela, popular in hosting top class shows in the region for over 20 years with great zeal and team work. The show is in support of the charitable works undertaken by Emirates Paradela Foundation and for their various social activities.


It was a marvelous musical evening for Hindi music lovers here bringing back the memories of the top playback singers lead by Gopi Kamath who took the crowd to a golden era of music.

President of Emirates Paradela Foundation BenetteD’Mello welcomed the gathering and thanked the sponsors for their strong and continuous support. The event sponsors Leo Rodrigues, Ronald Pinto, Richard Castelino, Sudhir Shetty, Norbert D’Souza, Urban Sequeira, Abdul Rahim and Walter Almeida were honoured with mementos and flowers.

President of ISC Ramesh Panikar and special guest from Mangaluru Lancelot Pinto, Corporator of Bejai, Mangaluru were also honoured. The media personnel were honoured on stage by Vice-president Vincent D’Mello. All artistes were honoured by Cedric Menezes.

The top singers from UAE Tejaswini Shahane of Indian Idol fame, Sudhakshina Mukherjee of Antakshari and Channel V’s Popstar fame and retro voice of the gulf and Nirupama Dey, finalist at Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Challenge, Singer Chirag Panchal, winner of Sa Re Ga Ma Music kept the audience entertained till the end. The artistes sang the best numbers of 50s, 60s and 70s to a jam packed crowd.

Emirates Paradela has been actively supporting causes like education and medical assistance to the economically weaker sections of the society. They have been able to give their time to nobel causes through their strong sponsors and supporters.

Emirates Paradela was the pioneer of the Educational Scholarships programme to the poor students from the year 1996. Last year, they supported more than 50 students in education. They also contributed towards other NGO’s such as CHESHERI HOME, WHITE DOVES, Seon Ashram, ASHRAYA and terminally ill patients.
