Sharjah: The law enforcement authorities arrested 75 traders and beggars including Indians for breaking the law.

The arrested are expatriates from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Nigeria.

The authorities during February began a drive to arrest the expatriates who are illegally overstaying in the country.

Among the expatriates arrested were a few beggars and are involved in gambling.  The drive against illegal expatriates will be intensified shortly, informed police sources.
