Bearys Cultural Forum UAE organises Iftar meet

Dubai: “Let the good deeds done during Holy Ramadan be acceptable to Allah and let Him pardon us, through this, let the peace reign among the mankind,” said Bearys Cultural Forum (BCF) president Dr B K Yusuf.

Dr B K Yusuf was speaking during Iftar programme that was organised by BCF at Iranian Club, here on Friday, July 11.

Dr Yusuf further said that BCF has been distributing scholarship to poor students since many years with the generous contributions of donors. It will be continued throughout in order to help the economical-weaker students of community who are deprived of education, said Dr Yousuf.

Speaking on the occasion, Karnataka Sangha – Sharjah former president Ganesh Rai said that Holy Ramadan is not limited to Muslims, it is a month for people of different communities to be engaged in good deeds.  Meanwhile, the good deed of educating poor children by providing the scholarship is a holy step to impress Lord Allah during the occasion of Holy Ramadan, said Ganesh Rai.

Kannada Koota UAE’s president Mallikarjuna Gowda commended the efforts of BCF in helping the economically-weaker students to excel in studies by distributing scholarship.

BCF Iftan Committee president Abdul Latif Mulky and BCF vice president M E Muloor conveyed Ramadan wishes to the people gathered during Iftar meet.

BCF secretary Dr Kaup Mohammed compered the programme and announced the total contribution donated by philanthropists towards scholarship fund.

Dr. Ali Mohammad offered motion of the programme by reciting the verses of Holy Quran.

Earlier, Ustad Ibrahim Sakhafi delivered a religious message and prayed for the wellness of mankind.

As part of Iftar celebrations, Islamic quiz and Kirat reciting competitions were held for the children. M E Muloor and Ibrahim conducted the competitions.

Chilly Willy director Satish Venkataramana, BCF vice presidents Salim Altaf and Amiruddin, Karnataka Sangha – Sharjah formar president Satish Poojary, Abu Sali, Rashid Krishnapura, Jayanth Shetty and others were present at the dais.

BCF vice president Salim Altaf proposed vote of thanks and concluded the programme with Allahs graces.
