Bahrain:An esteemed organization of the Billawas residing in Bahrain, The Guru Seva Samithi(Bahrain Billawas) is celebrating its Decennial Jubilee of Institution and has organized various programs as a part of the celebration.
The two day celebrations will have, The Karnataka state minister for Urban Develpement Shri. Vinay Kumar Sorake, MLA of Karkala constituency Shri. Sunil Kumar, Eminent Tulu writer M Janaki Brahmavar, Vice- President of Tulu Sahitya Academy Umanatha Kotyan as the esteemed chief guests.
Including the above dignitaries the Indian Ambassador for Bahrain, Representatives of the cultural ministry of Bahrain, Representatives of Indian Club and representatives of various organizations of Tulu and Kannada language of Bahrain will also be present.
The first day’s program will be held in the Al-Raza School and a comedy drama called “Rambarotti” , directed by eminent Tulu comedian Naveen D Padil will be staged. The drama will have comedian Bhojraj Vamanjoor, Mime-Ramdas, Vismay Vinayak in the lead roles.
On the same day, a 45 min. cultural program will be staged which will showcase the cultural richness of the Karnataka under the direction of Paramananda Salyan along with cultural programs from the members of various organizations of Bahrain.
On the second day a special lecture will be held on culture and traditions of Tulunadu by Umanatha Kotyan. Sandalwood actor Sachin Sheena Suvarna, Shashiraj Kavoor and famous builders from Mangalore will the guests for the program.
The celebration committee headed by the president of GSS Shri Raghu Shiva Poojary is putting its heart and soul in organizing the celebrations.
