UAE: The most awaited movie “Asathoma Sadgamaya” is all set to hit screens in the UAE soon. The movie tickets will be released at Winny’s Restaurant, Karama, Dubai on Friday, October 5, at 6 pm and will be soon available at all regular outlets. Shodhan Prasad led Sandhya Creations is organizing the show in UAE on behalf of Icare Movies.
The family-friendly movie which got good response across Karnataka upon its release in July this year stars Radhika Chetan and Kiran Raj in the lead roles. The movie, presented by Icare Movies, has been directed by Mangaluru’s Rajesh Venoor and produced and co-produced by Ashwin J Pereira and Melissa D’Souza, respectively.
The movie also stars Lasya Nagaraj, Deepak Shetty and Baby Chitrali. The movie also debuts Pradeep Barboza Paladka, hero and director of “Ek Aslylar Ek Na” fame and Deepak Paladka, comedy actor in Konkani and Tulu film who is popular in Dubai and Mangaluru.
Vikram and Nelson are the executive producers of the movie. The movie contains five songs which have been directed by Wahab Salim. The cinematographer of the movie is Kishore.
The first half of the movie narrates the tale of two love-birds from Mandya, Raghava (Kiran Raj) and Sandhya (Lasya Nagaraj), who dream of escaping the rural life by migrating to the USA for leading a luxurious life. By a chance encounter Sherlin or Shalini (Radhika Chetan) who was adopted by Finnish citizens from an orphanage.
The tale traverses into how Sherlin finds her biological mother and how the couple reconciles with their families. Along the way, some untoward incidents happen that keep the audience on tenterhooks.
The film also tries to explore how the education mafia is responsible for the shutdown of government schools across the state. It also delves into how poor are deprived of opportunities of education.
Rajesh Venoor has made justice to the story by his linear storytelling. He also manages to keep the viewers hooked till the end of the movie. The romantic and philosophical songs and the music score complement the story very well.
The acting is also on point. The movie is a complete mixture of a good direction, cinematography, music, lyrics and dialogues.
All in all Asathoma Sadgamaya is a family entertainer with hints of comedy, that seeks to refocus people’s perceptions of the world. The movie focuses on special bonds, relationships and emotions, and asks people to go along on the journey in order to rekindle in them the focus on the same things as well.
