Dubai : The second annual get-together of the Kulshekhar Friends, UAE was a fun-filled event featuring a variety of games and entertainment programmes at Zabeel Park here on November 1, Friday. Members enthusiastically participated in the event thereby contributing to its success.
The programmes began with Fr Vincent, Parish Priest of Bela Parish rendering the prayer.
Community leader Rajesh Sequeira was honoured on the occasion for his distinguished services to the Mangalorean community in UAE. Earlier Ramcy Fernandes introduced Rajesh Sequeira to the gathering and spoke about his achievements.
A variety of programmes including talent hunt, group and individual games, tug of war, creative costumes and breaking the pot contest were organised.
Prizes were distributed to the winners at the end of the programme. Carol D’Souza and Rajesh Sequeira compered the programme. Leslie Noronha proposed the vote of thanks.
