‘Summer Shine reloaded’ concludes with great fervour

Abu Dhabi: India Social and Cultural Centre successfully concluded their Summer Camp for the children, ‘Summer Shine reloaded’ on August 18, 2016. The camp was held for the children aged between 7-17 Years from August 6 to August 18, 2016.

This was the second camp in a row in this summer at ISC, based on the demands of the participants of the camp “Summer Shine” conducted earlier from July 9 to July 30. The camp was announced just two days prior to the start due to shortage of time. However, over 100 children participated. It was a leisure oriented camp which provided the opportunity for the children to get involved in various sports activities while enjoying togetherness and friendship. Several coaching sessions to for best interests of the children were also extended.

The camp was concluded with grand performances of the participants lasting for over two and a half hours. The attendees showcased their talents in presence of their parents and distinguished guests. The performance included skits, group and solo songs, single and group dances, instrument music etc. Children also described their experiences and achievements from the camp. The event concluded with the National Anthem.

The children further performed in the 70th India’s Independence Day celebrations jointly organised by ISC and other registered organizations.
