Mangaluru: Thank You Karnataka is a series of programmes organised to celebrate decennial year of NewsKarnataka and thus thank Kannadigas all over the globe for supporting the Spearhead Media Group to achieve this milestone.
One of the programmes under Thank You Karnataka series is the Womenia, a show that promotes women of impact, entrepreneurs and achievers that is aired on every Thursday. The guest of the 13th episode aired on Thursday January 5 is Sapna Noronha, Visual Artist. The anchor person for the programme is Ananya Hegde.
The programme was premiered on NewsKarnataka.com’s YouTube Channel.
Sapna Noronha cherishing her childhood memories shared, “I grew up with my grand parents. The summer holidays and the trips we had together was one of the most beautiful memories of my childhood.”
“I had no thoughts on taking up art and crafts in my career. From my childhood I had my books scribbled with cartoons and other drawings. “The aquaintance with one of the persons famed in art introduced me to several other famed artists and my journey began” and also shared how she begin writing for newspapers.
Speaking about balancing family life and career Sapna expressed, “When you really wish to achieve, things will fall into place.” As a success key she shared, “I grabbed every opportunity that came my way and walked through it.”
As an advice she said, “Let’s build each other and stand up for each other.”
