Mangaluru: The seventh episode of Amazing People second season was premiered on Sunday September 4 at 10.30 am IST.

The guest of the episode was Sabita Monis, Student Welfare Officer, Alva’s Education Foundation, Moodabidri. The host of Amazing People is Spearhead Media Group Mentor and Advisor CA Valerian Dalmaida.

The programme was premiered on NewsKarnataka.com’s Facebook and YouTube channels.

Sabita Monis, physically challenged without her two hands recalls, “When young child as my siblings performed activities with hands, I used my legs to do the task. I am an inspiration to myself. I aimed to learn and achieve success,” she expressed”.

Recalling her initial struggles she shared, “In my childhood I had to walk 2 km’s towards my school and during rainy season it was difficult for me to hold umbrella. Back then my sisters assisted me,” she said recalling all the societal aids she received on her way towards success.

“Physically challenged are highly talented. Discovering their talents and facilitating them opportunity will open way for their success,” she opined.
