Mangaluru: Ullal Dargah celebrated the 68th Republic Day on January 26, 2017 with full patriotism, pride and honour. The entire community assembled for the celebration, and Dargah chief Haji Abdul Rashid Ullal hoisted the National Flag. This was followed by National Anthem, sung by the students.

In his Republic Day Address, Haji Abdul Rashid mentioned that all people should abide by the Indian Constitution and follow the principles enshrined in the constitution.

On the occasion, he paid homage to the architects of the constitution, mainly Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar and said “One who follows the Nation’s constitution is a true Muslim”,

Members of Dargah committee, school and college students belonging to Islamic schools in vicinity were present on the occasion.
