Mangaluru : Thousand of Devotees, mostly from Gowda Saraswat Brahmin (GSB) community thronged Car Street on January 24 to immerse themselves in religious festivities on the occasion of Kodial Theru / Car festival

The six day festival got underway on January 20, with the most important day being Wednesday, January 24 , known as Brahmarathotsava day.

The famous Venkataramana temple was flooded with devotees,with each striving to get a glimpse of the deity in full splendor.
