ISRO offers prayers at Sri Krishna Mutt ahead of Chandrayaan-2 launch

Udupi: ISRO Chief K Shivan visited the Udupi Sri Krishna Temple and offered prayers for the smooth launch of the Chandrayaan-2, which is all set to take off on July 15. He met Paryaya seer Palimaru Sri Vidyadhisha Theertha Swamiji during his visit.

Chandrayaan-2 is India’s high-profile second moon mission, which will leave country’s footprint on the moon’s surface for decades. The final preparations for the mission are almost over, as the lunar module has been integrated with launcher GSLV MK-III. The assembled rocket will be launched from Sriharikota.
