Mangaluru: The city has been receiving heavy rains over the past few days. Many areas have been flooded with water spilling out of the stormwater drains and sewers. It is also being reported that in some places, the water logging is so severe that the water is knee-deep, causing a lot of inconvenience to the people.

In Bejai, the constant battering of the rains caused mud from a hillside to slide onto the roads.
